Satellite Pinner is a satellite-imagery guessing game.
Information we collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.
Local storage
The game stores your current daily puzzle's progress in your browser's local storage, which stays on your device and can be cleared anytime via your browser's site-data settings.
Third-party services
Loading a puzzle makes direct requests from your browser to two third-party providers:
- Esri — satellite imagery, using that day's mystery city's coordinates and zoom level. Not your location — the game never accesses your device's location.
- Open-Meteo — weather and sunrise/sunset data, using that day's mystery city's coordinates and the current date.
These requests go directly from your browser to each provider; their own privacy policies govern how they handle them.
